After Frankie Hi Nrg, La Pina and Carlo Pastore this year is the turn of Davide di Leo, a.k.a. Boosta: not only is he going to be a jury member, but also the special guest of Taglia Corti 2014. The well-known keyboarder of Subsonica is going to attend the festival as guest of honor of Tagliacorti on the 27th of March, Teatro Miela. Co-pioneer of the famous band mentioned above, he is also Dj, Producer and Remixer (Placebo, Skin, Client, Moby and the only italian remixer for Depeche Mode), with a wide consolle experience playing on Europe’s most famous stages.
Boosta is also author of many song pieces by Mina, Malika Ayane and Skunk Anansie, but his artistic career is not only limited to music. He published four books (among which also a Children’s book) and worked as Editor for La Stampa, La Repubblica and Wired. His writing skills will lead him to the screenplay and directing of Surfin’ Torino, in collaboration with the director Chiara Pacilli, with whom he also worked in “Ho Visto Cose”. His rèsumè also involves television: after the experience collected with 25a Ora Il Cinema Espanso on La7, he has been working in volto di SKY ARTE HD since January 2013, the brand new SKY cultural channel. This channel will give birth to Boo(k)sta: Libri in musica, a programme telling about this favourite books in an original way, i.e. composing an original theme song for every book.
Boosta definitely has the numbers for the jury of Tagliacorti in the Videoclips Category. He is also going to be interviewed and will share his experience with the young directors during the evening. Don’t miss it!
