The 2016 edition of Taglia Corti will centre on creativity: our new motto waiting for your creativity! is aimed at attracting the inventiveness and imagination of young talents from all over the world. TagliaCorti is not merely a festival, but a box full of continuously evolving ideas.
The competition is open to all aspiring directors (aged not over 35), who will have the opportunity to present a 10-minute work (the length must not exceed 10 minutes). As genre and topic are concerned, there are no particular limitations. The categories are:
- Cortometraggi (short films): this category encompasses any kind of short films, realised with any sort of means and technique. The final prize is € 600.00.
- Videoclipmusicali (music videos): this category addresses both music bands and solo singers, who have realised a music video of any kind and with any budget. The final prize for this category is € 400.00.

The closing evening will take place on 7th April 2016 in Miela Theatre of Trieste. During this final show, not only the finalists’ short films will be screened and awarded, but there will be also room for music and live performances.
